Hi-fi lover since I am young, I have always wanted to get the emotions of a live concert in my living-room.
I’ve known Focal thanks to a friend who owns JMLab loudspeakers.
My very first Focal loudspeakers were a pair of Chorus 726V, chosen among other brands in an auditorium. They were offering an unbeatable quality/price ratio.
A few years later, I decided to upgrade my system.
I’ve heard the Aria 948 speakers during a hi-fi show in Paris. My choice was evident. A precise and large soundstage I really liked. A beautiful look, sober but well-made, a French expertise and a great customer service. Like I said, choosing these models was obvious.
These Aria 948 have been in my living-room for more than a year for my greatest happiness. For sure, the best element of my hi-fi system.

I've always loved Hi-fi and Home Theatre. My father is a musician and a music teacher and when I was about 12, he gave me my first stereo system composed of an old JVC amp and speakers he built himself. This is also when I started to get into headphones, which later led to my apprenticeship at a small TV & Hifi store.

About one year ago, a friend who works at another store which sells high-end audio (Focal, Naim Audio, B&W, Dynaudio, etc.) asked me if I wanted to come to a reopening event they held. This is where I heard the Focal Elegia headphones for the first time. I was blown away by the sound of these headphones. Prior to this experience I didn't think it was possible to build such a large soundstage and an open sound in a closed-back pair of headphones. Since then I have also experienced the Utopia, Clear and Stellia which are all great headphones too. The same day I also auditioned the Scala Utopia EVO which is an amazing speaker. I have never heard anything like it before and after.
I really love my Focal Elegia. The bass is tight, the mids are detailed, the treble are crisp and the build quality is superb. This is what I expect from a high-end pair of headphones. But what astonishes me the most is their extreme flexibility no matter what kind of music I play they handle it with ease, be it Trance, Drum and Bass, Prog or Indie Rock. And it deserves to be mentioned, these headphones go low... very low. You really hear everything it's a bliss.

Currently the Elegia is my only Focal product but it certainly won't be my last. Maybe my next home theatre upgrade will include some Focal speakers? Who knows ;-)

I chose Focal Studio Monitors for my studio after demoing the CMS40 series and appreciating the sound but needed a bigger system. I bought into the Focal Twin6 Be series, and am currently running Focal SM9 Main monitors with dual Focal Sub6 subwoofers crossed over at 65Hz. This gives me a loud and balanced setup that I need for my larger room. The details I am able to hear with this setup wow me every time. I’ve also installed Focal Speakers in my car for checking mixes further, however ever since I got into the Focal series studio monitors I am finding my mixes translate very well and the “car test” isn’t necessary anymore. I also have the Focal Spirit Pro headphones that artists love for the comfort & sound & there are consistent with the sound of Focal Monitors. I am doing less mix revisions with Focal products, can trust what I am doing and work long hours without fatigue every day.

As a student in the late 1990s, I had always wanted to own a pair of JMLab speakers when I started my audiophile journey. Limited by resources then, I could only admire Utopias at local Hi-Fi shows. As an engineer, I can rely on Focal's strong company heritage of R&D and business model of developing everything in-house, especially the amazing Beryllium tweeters. Today, I am thankful to own a pair of Focal Sopra No.2 and have successfully began the next stage of my audiophile journey. A truly impeccable sounding pair of high-end loudspeakers. I love this brand because all high-end ranges are made in France. Their products are beautiful, much more than any other manufacturer’s. Moreover, they deliver an unrivalled and balanced sound, that’s why I love the Focal sound.

I now own Utopia and Stellia headphones. I absolutely love them!

After having tested each and every Focal studio monitors, I choose the Trio6 Be.
Their dynamic and soundstage are perfect to mix. Their level of bass is what I need to work. Moreover, the possibility to orientate them easily and the Focus mode which enables to switch from a 3-way monitor to a 2-way one are two pleasant key points.

I have been consumer of AV for a while but I really started getting into higher end in the last 6 to 7 years. I discovered Focal after extensive research of high-end 2-channel setup and home theater options when I was looking to upgrade my Martin Logan 7.2 system.

I finally decided to buy a pair of Focal Kanta N°3 floorstanding speakers with the Kanta Center Channel powered by NAD Master Series M17V2, M22V2 and M27 amplification system. Ultimately what sealed the deal for me was the precision of soundstage provided by the Beryllium tweeters and, the incredible bass from the Flax cone drivers. The modern aesthetic, premium components and service provided by my dealer Command Performance AV were just the icing on the cake I was looking for to push me over the edge and I couldn’t be happier.

Music has always been very crucial to me. Aging, I started my long desired hobby, the Hi-Fi. Considering my financial abilities, I can never call myself an audiophile, but a very enthusiast hi-fi guy.

In our former house, I didn't have a special listening room and the living room was open kitchen. So in best case (late night etc.), there was the refrigerator sound in the background and I wouldn't listen to music with high volume; for the neighbors and I prefer to listen to music with low volume. Other specifications I demand on an audio product are the detail and naturalness. Focal had very nice reviews. Furthermore, one very important reason why I chose Focal products is they are produced in France.

I started wandering through internet forums, product reviews etc. for very good headphones. That search lead me to Focal Utopia. The Utopia being out of my financial reach, I had my eyes on Elear. First step was to check the overall brand quality and I started with Sphear earphones. I was very happy with the build and sound quality of the product.

Then I had a chance to visit Extreme Audio of Turkey. The guys there, are very nice and helpful. I had a chance to A/B/C/D Elear with some rivals. Elear was far better than any other especially in terms of naturalness and detail. I purchased my Elear from them that day.

That day I also had a chance to listen to Aria 936 in Extreme Audio. I was considering to upgrade my speakers since we were considering to move to a bigger house with a listening room for me. Although I didn't have a chance to A/B the Aria 936 with any other speaker, I was very happy with how they sounded.

I use the Elear with my digital piano. I am trying to learn playing the piano. Recently I am only beginning.

I've been introduced to Focal products for the first time in 2007 in Yerevan, Armenia. At that time, there was only one high-end audio store for the entire town in which there was only one Focal product. I was totally blown away by the Focal products.
I bought my first set of Alpha 50 monitors in 2014 and since then I am a loyal customer to Focal. I've upgraded to Shape 65 in February 2019 and I really love them, it's my first Made in France set of speakers.
I prefer studio monitor sound to hi-fi one, but this is a matter of personal preferences.
Really looking forward to upgrade my home theater with Focal sound as well!

I have a pair of Listen Professional headphones and since I got them they’ve made my job so much easier in studio or working remotely.
They sound very accurate and detailed just like if you were listening to your monitors. These are my very first Focal product but they’re definitely not the last! Some Focal monitors will be joining the family soon…

I use Alpha 65 studio monitors from December 2017. First, I wanted to buy the new “Shape” series, but it was too expensive for me, so I thought: why not start with the Alpha line that sounds amazing too?! And it is worth it! Good monitors with crystal clear sound and I like how they sound. I now trust my ears!
I knew Focal several years ago when I studied audio engineering in Barcelona. This is a major brand for producers and audio engineers and I love it.

I’ve known the Focal brand or should I say Focal JM Lab at that time thanks to my uncle who was owning Cobalt S loudspeakers.
When I decided to update my installation a few years ago, I have logically taken interest in Focal. After a few listening sessions, I chose Chorus 800V. In addition to the sound, I really loved their design.
Chorus 836’s bass was impressive, the medium/treble were also very good but I wanted more…

After the 800Vs, I’ve owned the Special W Edition which were better in the medium register.

For now, I own an Electra Be system composed of 1038, CC1008 and SR1000 models.
Regarding the sound and the design, it is simply perfect. The Electra line is a success and I won’t change them.

I'd always been aware of Focal as a brand, consistently great write up's in the audiophile press and striking designs, however I hadn't really been in the market for one of their products until it came to take the plunge on some true reference headphones.

There are many credible headphone options out there but after extensive research, and an enthusiastic endorsement from a trusted friend and Focal owner, I set my sights on the Focal range and specifically the Clear model - and boy do they deliver, my daughter also agrees! Balanced, fabulous imaging, jaw dropping detail retrieval without being overly analytical sounding, and versatile both in the way it presents different styles of music as well as amplifier pairing. 

Based on the performance of these headphones when it comes to next upgrading my speakers Focal will be auditioned as a first priority.

I first came into awareness of Focal Audio through Pro Audio magazine Sound on Sound and their review of the SM9 Monitor. Last year when I was shopping for new monitors for my mixing room I went to my local music store (Red Dog Music London) to try the new Shape 50’s. After listening to them and a whole host of other monitors I was in love, however I decided to get the 65’s and not the 50’s. At first it was the bass that drew me. Always there and for lack of a better word, solid. Never hyped of woofy just there. Where it should be. Later on (after hours of listening) I noticed that the high end was different, clearer. I think the inverted dome on the tweeter has something to do with this.

I currently own and love the Shape 65’s and the Listen Professional Headphones, next up from Focal for me are the Clear Professionals and a pair of SM9’s.

声音是真正的热情！

在我需要入耳式耳机时，我发现了Focal耳机。它们在我聆听歌曲和混音时，带来了一种直接、忠实的声音。我已经测试过了其他品牌，但结果并不令人信服。低音太多，过于扁平或音质不佳……我在网上搜索，然后找到了有关Focal的信息。在阅读了一些客户的评论后，我买下了它。

我在几年前购买了高端耳机（AKG k267——这不是Focal的产品，但请听我说），用起来不错，但几个月后，它们坏掉了。我在Spirit Professional和AKG之间犹豫不决，最终我选择了后者，因为一个促销优惠——这让我懊悔不已。即使门店的售后服务因为众所周知的问题为我更换了耳机，我也不再使用它们了，因为还有其他的原因也让我对它们感到失望。

2年后，为了弥补缺少Focal系统的遗憾，我买了一副Alpha 80。当时，我在寻找一副品质优良，大约1000欧元左右的监听耳机（对有些人来说，这个购买音响的价钱是一大笔预算），但并没有很好的选择。将不同产品进行对比  是很困难的，尤其是你要花费数小时来阅读别人的意见和反馈。最后，我自己试听了不同品牌的不同型号——日本的，美国的和德国的。根据客户和音响专业人士的观点，它们都很成功，但却没有一款是令我满意的。它们都能给出不同的声音，但也有很多缺陷。后来，我在一家专业工作室中听到了一个丹麦的数字化5.1系统。即使它不够完美，而且极为昂贵——超过10,000欧元，但显然它为我带来了另一个世界……

不久之后，Alphas出现了，我选择了80s……它们让我感到更快乐！它们十分均衡，完全不会让人感到疲倦，而且性价比很高。我喜欢这个声音，这些声音有存在感，它们不是从音响中发出的，而是存在于房间中。我想，“聆听你的音乐，而非你的音响”能很好地说明这个情况。是的，这些不是我渴望获得的，全球众多工作室中作为参照标准的带有铍高音喇叭的Solo6 Be + Sub 6或SM9，但同时，我的Alphas能让我在回家并打开它们时会心一笑，给我带来欢乐。它们每天都让我感到开心，在周末和节假日中，能让我开心很长时间。
这是非常主观的感受，并非每个人的偏好。顺便说一句，我的父母不像我这般充满激情 ;-)

这一切都是在说，我并不满足。在不久的将来，我希望能在工作室中工作，处理声音，即使这是一个封闭的世界，或从事一份能让我 始终聆听音乐的工作，并了解更多有关声音处理和音频信号复原的知识，这一领域在不断发展。我希望能和Fab Dupont一同参观AES或NAMM以及Musikmesse Show这样的音乐产品展会。
总而言之，我是Focal品牌及其系统的忠实粉丝，这是我的热情所在。这一切不会在明天停止，因为这只是一个人与他的Focal音响之间爱情故事的开始……

我年轻的时候就发现了Focal，因为我永远都是一名音乐爱好者。我始终喜欢用一种精确、充满细节的声音来聆听音乐。当我在家乡的一家本地Focal经销商那里第一次听到Focal时，就深深地爱上了这个品牌：声音深沉且精确，远超我的预期。从此以后，我就再也没有离开过这个总部位于Loire的品牌。我的家也住在Loire。我和Focal都位于相同的地区，这让我感到非常自豪。

从11/12岁开始，我就成了一位音乐爱好者。我始终梦想着拥有一部自己的高品质高保真系统。因此，在拥有了20年的经验后，我决定完善我的系统，而我从未想过Focal音响会成为其中的一部分。

5年前，我前往购买一对Bowers & Wilkins Cm音响。我走进一家音乐商店。有一个人正位于店内的视听区域，聆听一些音响音乐。那种充满整个房间的声音几乎是不真实的，我仿佛被催眠了。我忘记了为什么来这里，不知不觉地走到试听区享受这种声音……在那一刻，我认为这是自己听过的最美妙的声音，如此自然，如此恰当好处，好像在聆听现场的吉他演奏。我问销售这是什么牌子的音响，他告诉我说是Focal Chorus 807V。这是我第一次听到Focal。随后，我开始在网上阅读有关这个品牌和产品的各种信息。我还开始为了音响存钱，但不久之后，我妻子将这些音响作为生日礼物送给了我。我们从德国前往奥地利购买音响，因为在德国买不到。这是到目前为止最棒的生日礼物，感谢我的妻子。

我仍然留着配备了高端缆线的音响，即使有人出价100万美元也不会出售。它们是我在Focal的初恋。

从那一天起，我就成了一名超级粉丝并一路追随品牌的所有新闻。现在，我的下一个愿望就是获得一副全新的Utopia或Elear耳机，它们实在是太棒了。

总而言之，Focal的产品风格鲜明。它们带来了自然、动态、丰富且充满细节的声音。这是耳朵的盛宴。愿Focal长长久久，你永远是第一！

当我在汽车音响行业工作了10多年后，我听遍了全球各地的音响，但当我发现Focal时，一切都改变了。精确再现声音的能力只是开始。汽车环境代表了对优质音响的挑战。在这样的环境中，整个系列的Focal驱动器都有着卓越的表现，无论什么风格的音乐，它们都能为你带来更多的内容。他们能制造无可匹敌的优质部件。K2 Power系列是我的最爱。

我为自己的K2P设计并制造了定制外壳。这个K2P是用在家中的家庭音响中的，V2则用在我的车内。

我与Focal-JMIab的初次邂逅是在我参加曼彻斯特的一次高保真展会上。在进入Focal展厅的那一刻起，我听到了Micro Utopia的声音，又重新回到了1990年代。它们对Garbarek音乐的处理让我印象深刻。

快进到1990年代晚期，当时Focal推出了Electra 906，Micro Utopia的经济版。我还记得在我本地经销商那里听到这个声音的情形，音响效果很好，我马上就爱上它们了。直到2005年我才有机会购买一副之前作为展示品的耳机，情况完好而且价格合理。从此之后，无论我在何时对系统引入微小但意义重大的改进，Electras都留在我的系统中，而且也得到了改进。

尽管现在看来，设计略显过时，但它们仍然具有很不错的音乐表现，继续给我带来很多聆听的乐趣。目前的Focal系列比原先更加美观，而且在音质上也有持续的改进。新的Electras和Sopras在制造和音质上的表现十分惊艳，而且继续带来没有声染色的Focal声音。这种声音能充分展现音乐的特点，十分透明，而且能让你深入感受表扬，无论你喜欢何种音乐，它们就是“声音的真正精神”。

我第一感受Focal要追溯到2008年。当时，我买了自己的第一辆车  并发现原厂音响太糟糕了！因此，我研究了一下车载音响：杂志，  网络等。
在进行了大量的搜索查找后，奇迹出现了：我终于找到了那颗罕见的宝石；Focal套装用惊艳的低音为我带来了难以置信的声音效果。但最不幸的是，我不得不将它出售，因为它与我新车不兼容……

我曾经有机会测试这些音响驱动，我并不后悔。一个奇迹！现在，我希望为家庭用途来测试扬声器，这是一个将会成真的梦想，我希望有一天会成为现实。

Focal万岁，音乐万岁！Focal让音乐更美妙！

我在2013年蒙特利尔的声& 像展示会上第一次感受了Focal。Plurison经销商当时正在展示由Devialet 120放大器驱动的Aria 926扬声器。来自蒙特利尔乐队Mr Valaire的3首歌曲足以永远令我感到震撼。其实，这就是那些会让你开口惊呼的罕见时刻！我终于找到了让我的耳朵和眼睛感到震撼的东西……而且价格合理！（准确度、图像、美观、品质等。）

回到现实，我聆听各种Focal扬声器已经有3年时间了。我的耳朵最终做出了选择！它们每周都在恳求我订购一副Aria948或白色的Sopra N°2！
你可能会理解，我迫不及待的渴望在家中感受Focal并加入Focal的大家庭。

用Focal感受音乐！

这是对我始于1990年代晚期的Focal故事的小结。

我在很多杂志上发现了Focal，当时还是JM-Lab，Utopia和Electra系列立刻吸引了我的注意。虽然当时的设计不及今天，但当时还是十分前卫的。有一点可以肯定，即这个品牌开发的技术让我着迷，因为它们似乎比竞争对手提供的产品更具相关性，而且没有那么浓烈的“营销氛围”。我主要记得Focus Time，著名的W椎体，OPC分频线路，以及对铍的使用。简而言之，这一切都为Focal今天的成功做出了贡献，而且它们只有一个目标，在我看来，那就是：扬声器给音乐让路。这是最基本的。

Focal让我渴望成为一名音响工程师并加入这家公司。这本该在2008年成为现实，但因为个人原因，我谢绝了这份工作邀约。这听起来难以置信，但的确是真的！我有时仍然感到后悔。在不断演进的技术和工业技能之外，我想遇见Bruno Laroche和Gérard Chrétien将我同这个品牌联系在了一起，这要得益于他们的思想状态。在这次见面中，我有幸在Grande Utopia Em正式上市前就一睹尊容。从技术的角度看，它体积庞大，令人惊叹不已。这段经历将永远留在我的记忆中，即使我没有机会聆听这款耳机的声音，因为它们仍然在开发之中。若干年后，我在一座礼堂中聆听Stella Utopia EM。我从未在其他地方听到过像这样的声音效果。简直令人难以置信！

Focal的声音为你带来美妙的声场，一种完美的中立性，丰富的细节和卓越的动态表现；而目标只有一个：尊重声音的信息。升级我的系统前——Sopra扬声器，例如，谁知道呢？-  每天，我都非常享受我的26VW扬声器。一旦得到良好的驱动，它们就能走得很远。当然，它们并非完美无缺，但这也是它们魅力的一部分。

总而言之，我很高兴这支乐队是法语乐队（就像我的全套高保真系统）而且它还提供了各种各样的产品，让更多的人能接触到高保真的世界。如果要我用一句话总结：Focal，欣赏音乐。
