For over 40 years, Focal has been designing and manufacturing free-standing and in-wall/in-ceiling loudspeakers for the home, Home Cinema systems, speaker drivers for cars, monitors for recording studios, open-back and closed-back Hi-Fi headphones, as well as audio solutions for boats and yachts. Based in Saint-Étienne in France, Focal has positioned itself as a global leader in its field, thanks to its constant commitment to new technologies and innovations.

Everyone at Focal shares the same philosophy: French craftsmanship and industrialisation, innovation and tradition all come together to give audiophiles and music lovers access to the ultimate sound.

Focal has always been recognised and renowned worldwide for its expertise and manufacturing of products "Made in France"
The production site in Saint-Étienne, in the Auvergne department (Rhône-Alpes), groups together research & development and the production lines for speaker drivers, loudspeakers and high-fidelity headphones.
It is also equipped with a logistics platform. 100% of our hi-fi loudspeakers, monitoring loudspeakers and high-and products - including our Headphone and Car Audio collections - are made in France
We are particularly proud to have maintained production in France. It gives our equipment real added value, and guarantees optimal sound quality, thanks to our unique expertise, to our specific production line and to the assembly, which is in part carried out "by hand"

To stay faithful to our tradition of high-performance, a 100% Focal design is paramount. We believe this is the best way to have complete control over the design and quality control processes in order to guarantee high-quality products.

A DEDICATED
CABINET-MAKING FACILITY

Focal Ébénisterie Bourgogne is a major advantage for Focal’s prestige and for its products. Based in Bourbon-Lancy in Burgundy, our cabinet-making facility is composed of a team of cabinet-makers who make the loudspeaker enclosures for our high-end hi-fi and professional loudspeakers: Electra, Sopra, Utopia. The quality of the materials and finishes, the excellence of French workmanship, and the highly specialised expertise of our teams, all emanate from the high acoustic performance.

Certain manufacturing processes are outsourced to our partners, who have been carefully selected according to strict criteria.

We apply strict quality control standards as a guarantee that the manufacturing process adheres to our values in terms of excellence.
