At the heart of the new centre is the Focal Utopia Cinema Showroom – a stunning 7.6.2 Dolby Atmos installation featuring Focal 1000 Series: a game-changing range of in-wall and in-ceiling speaker and subwoofer options with unrivalled levels of performance.
Innovation
The 1000 Series range embodies the essence and savoir-faire of Focal: innovative speaker science, exclusive technology implementation, and exquisite French design and manufacturing. It includes models that share the same exclusive Beryllium tweeter and ‘W’ cone tech as the Focal Utopia home speaker range.
Made in France in Focal’s specialist workshops, the 1000 Series offers the ultimate discreet alternative to traditional hi-fi and home cinema set-ups, with no performance compromise. Each speaker is an innovative, flexible design – with both the installer and end customer in mind.
Fronting the Focal Utopia Cinema Showroom
Fronting the Focal Utopia Cinema Showroom are three 1000 IWLCR Utopia in-wall loudspeaker arrays and six 1000 IWSUB Utopia in-wall subwoofers. These are joined by four 1000 IWLCR6 two-way in-wall loudspeakers – deftly handling side and rear surround-sound – and a pair of 1000 ICW6 in-ceiling speakers providing the height channels for the enveloping Dolby Atmos experience.

This exceptional speaker line-up is powered by Focal’s multi-Award-winning Astral 16 AV processor and amplifier - a rock-solid foundation for this incredible, £67,000 showcase.

As you would expect from a system that shares its DNA with Focal’s lauded Utopia home loudspeaker range, the Showroom does not just excel with multichannel movie sound; the stereo performance is also outstanding. Users can choose a dedicated HI-Fi Two-Channel mode to experience the full force of Focal’s musical mastery.

Making the most of the Focal Astral’s multi-zone capabilities, Electec has also installed Focal 300 Series in-ceiling speakers to provide music throughout the adjacent office suite.
