6 1/2” (165mm) 2-WAY COAXIAL KIT

The EC 165 KE audio kit consists of 2 x 6 1/2” (165mm) woofers with coaxial tweeters. It features Focal’s aramid fibre cone. The legacy of our acoustics expertise, this cone, in its iconic yellow cloak, combines lightness, rigidity and damping, the perfect recipe for a good speaker driver. The result is faithful, dynamic, and perfectly defined sound. Combined with the cone, the TMD surround® guarantees low distortion for perfect cone control.
For smooth, precise treble, the kit includes a pair of coaxial tweeters inspired by Focal’s TKME. Its K2 cone with inverted dome, combined with its ‘M’-shaped profile, allows optimal dispersion of high frequencies during in-car listening.
In terms of compactness and design, EC 165 KE is tough and sleek, giving your in-car audio system both good looks and character.

ULTRA-COMPACT

4” (100 MM) 2-WAY COMPONENT KIT

The ultra-compact ES 100 K kit is extremely sensitive for such a small package. It will adapt to all configurations and all types of vehicle interiors.
The speaker drivers are equipped with the K2 cone, Focal’s iconic yellow innovation, that combines lightness, rigidity and damping. These ingredients ensure dynamic sound with incredible definition. The central ogive cones, meanwhile, help to disperse the sound better inside the passenger compartment.
For a super smooth treble, the TKME tweeter is the perfect, natural accompaniment to the midrange frequencies. Also made of aramid fibres, their inverted domes have an exclusive ‘M’-shaped profile that improves control of cone deformations and thereby limits distortion. The kits enjoy a very compact crossover, making installation and adjustments inside the vehicle easy. Also, for a custom installation, the TKME tweeter can be mounted in the factory locations, flush-fitted or on angled brackets.
Aluminium grilles are also supplied with the kit.

6 1/2” (165 MM) 2-WAY COMPONENT KIT

The ES 165 K2E system consists of two 6 1/2” (165mm) woofers with a K2 sandwich cone made of aramid fibre, a Focal innovation of renowned performance. Their high sensitivity allows them to produce an enveloping, powerful and dynamic sound. The central ogive ensures better sound dispersion within the vehicle, to significantly enhance the in-car listening experience.
The two TKME tweeters with the ‘M’-shaped inverted dome, also made of aramid fibre, are linked with bi-amplifiable audiophile crossovers. They ensure optimal control of the high frequencies, producing a smooth and perfectly defined treble. Hi-fi sound has arrived on board.
For optimal, flexible installation options, the tweeters can be mounted in one of three ways: in the factory location, flush-fitted or on angled brackets. The kit also includes aluminium grilles.

COMPACT AND DYNAMIC

The ES 165 K2S system consists of two very compact 6 1/2” (165mm) woofers. New to this fourth generation of K2 Power kits is the slim profile of the speaker drivers, giving them a shallow depth of 2 1/4” (58mm) to gain in compactness without losing energy. With an exceptional sound level, this kit offers unparalleled performance for its size.
Like all the other K2 Power kits, ES 165 K2S features the iconic aramid fibre K2 cone. This Focal innovation, in its instantly recognisable yellow cloak, combines rigidity, lightness and damping, the three essentials of a high-performance speaker driver. The sound is pure and high impact.
The two ‘M’-shaped inverted dome TKME tweeters, also made of aramid fibre, deliver smooth, precise treble. They are combined with bi-amplifiable audiophile crossovers, ensuring optimal control of the high frequencies.

The kit also includes aluminium grilles.

The tweeters can be mounted in different ways: in the factory locations, flush or on angled brackets, for all-encompassing installation options. The kit is also supplied with aluminium grilles.

ES 165 KX3E is an in-car audio kit consisting of two 6 1/2” (165mm) woofers and two 3” (80mm) midranges that cover a wide frequency spectrum, from a rich, dynamic midrange to deep, precise bass.
The speaker drivers are fitted with Focal’s iconic K2 cone in aramid fibre, an exclusive, performance-focussed cone for deep, powerful and perfectly defined sound.
For perfect reproduction of the treble and midrange, the kit includes Focal’s FRAK tweeters, made from aluminium/magnesium and with an exclusive ‘M’-shaped profile. They deliver ultra-realistic, crystal-clear sound. Coupled with bi-amplifiable audiophile crossovers and angled brackets, the tweeters will fit seamlessly into the passenger compartment, for perfect in-car sound immersion.

HARD-HITTING BASS

10” (25CM) SUBWOOFER

The 25 KXE subwoofer is a compact 10” (25cm) woofer. Its high-power handling and reliability are impressive.
Like all the kits from the K2 Power line, the SUB 25 KXE features the iconic yellow K2 cone. A Focal innovation, the cone is supported by a strong, highly reliable rubber surround, whose exclusive profile has been optimised to enable very long travel. It is the source of perfect sound reproduction on board.
At Focal, every detail counts. Also, the aluminium chassis is a key player in quality sound reproduction. Rigid, non-magnetic, and specially designed for K2, it improves the excursion of the coil and allows the subwoofer to deliver sustained, striking, dynamic bass.

SHALLOW DEPTH 10” (25CM) SUBWOOFER

25 KXS is an ultra-compact 10” (25cm) woofer. New for the fourth generation of K2 Power kits, it features a slim profile for even shallower depth without energy loss.
Sealed box or bass-reflex, this subwoofer gives impressive power handling and reliability for such a compact package.
Like all the K2 Power kits, 25 KXS is equipped with the K2 aramid fibre cone. Born in 1986 and introduced into the car audio sector in 1992, the K2 sandwich cone is an exclusive Focal innovation, immediately recognisable by its iconic yellow colour and by the perfect sound it reproduces inside a vehicle. It is supported by a strong and super reliable rubber surround, whose exclusive profile has been optimised to provide lengthy travel, a top choice for your in-car audio system.

12” (30CM) SUBWOOFER

The 30 KXE subwoofer is a 12” (30cm) woofer that stands out for its high-power handling and exceptional reliability. Offering an exceptional sound level, it has an SPL for a sealed box or bass-reflex.
Like all the K2 Power kits, it features Focal’s emblematic K2 cone, instantly recognisable in its iconic yellow. This innovation combines rigidity, lightness and damping to reproduce precise and dynamic low frequencies. What’s more, the cone is supported by a strong, super reliable rubber surround. Its exclusive profile provides better cone travel, for deep, controlled bass.
Rigid, non-magnetic, and specially designed, the aluminium chassis has been designed to improve the excursion of the coil, allowing the subwoofer to deliver sustained, striking, dynamic bass.
